Hey there! I’m Sophie.
I’m a Chicago-based actor, originally from Denver, CO. I’m an alum of AMDA NY's Integrated Conservatory program, and recently graduated (summa cum laude) from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Musical Theatre!
I started acting at age 5, in the pivotal role of “Dot” in a very un-authorized version of ‘A Bug’s Life’, and I haven’t looked back! Since then, I have been lucky enough to act all over Colorado and Chicago with companies like Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, Benchmark Theatre, Beverly Arts Center, and Theatre Above the Law.
I’m a very playful and analytical actor, with a passion for honest storytelling. I love getting into the nitty-gritty of textual analysis, and generally being a big ol’ theatre nerd. Outside of theatre you can find me trying every cafe in Chicago (feel free to send me recs!), building miniature houses with working lights (pics in my gallery below), volunteering at PAWS helping homeless cats get adopted, or fawning over my own precious kitty, Scrapper!
